LCR E-Team rider Mattia Casadei claimed his first victory of the 2024 MotoE season with a remarkable comeback in Race 2 at Le Mans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After finishing fifth in Race 1, the Italian rider started Race 2 from 10th on the grid and was committed to getting the most out of his package to fight for the best possible result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Showing impressive pace and determination, he quickly worked his way through the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Casadei took the lead\u00a0and managed it confidently to cross the line in first place, achieving the first victory of the season with the LCR E-Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the result marked a positive step for the team, the weekend ended on a bittersweet note. In Race 1, teammate Eric Granado was hit by another rider and suffered a fracture to his right tibia. The Brazilian rider will remain under observation for the next 24 hours and is scheduled to travel to Barcelona for surgery on Tuesday at Hospital Universitari Dexeus.
