{"id":3532,"date":"2019-02-20T15:57:42","date_gmt":"2019-02-20T15:57:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/frentubo.it\/?p=3532"},"modified":"2019-02-25T16:00:00","modified_gmt":"2019-02-25T16:00:00","slug":"its-curtains-up-for-althea-mie-racing-team-at-phillip-island","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/frentubo.it\/en\/2019\/02\/its-curtains-up-for-althea-mie-racing-team-at-phillip-island\/","title":{"rendered":"It\u2019s curtains up for Althea MIE Racing Team at Phillip Island"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>Phillip Island (Australia), Wednesday 20 February 2019<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">With testing having concluded only yesterday, the Althea MIE Racing Team is ready to begin the 2019 Superbike World Championship, the first races of which are set to take place this weekend at the Phillip Island track in Australia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Rider Alessandro Delbianco prepares to make his Superbike debut and, despite having never raced at the Australian track before, the young Italian is determined to make a good first impression on board his Honda CBR1000RR SP2 during this season\u2019s opening round.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Officially inaugurated in 1956, the Phillip Island facility is located 140 km south of Melbourne and boasts a spectacular position, the ocean serving as a backdrop. The sessions gave me a chance to build confidence around a track I\u2019d never seen before now anyway. As for the opening race weekend, my only goal is to continue to improve.
