Pro Honda LCR rider Diogo Moreira finished 11th on Sunday in Brno.

Starting from the fifth spot of the grid (after a rider received a penalty, allowing Moreira to gain one position), the Brazilian made a tremendous start and immediately put himself in contention for a podium finish.

As the laps went by, Moreira struggled to maintain the pace and, despite pushing hard to hold his position, he gradually lost a few places.

He managed the situation intelligently without making mistakes and crossed the line in 11th place, collecting points and valuable information ahead of next week’s race.

“It was a tough race. We chose the medium tyre because it was the safest option and, after yesterday’s crash, it was important to make sure we reached the finish. The final stages of the race were difficult, and I focused on managing the tyre and bringing it home. Considering the circumstances, we did a good job and managed to score points. In Assen, we’ll aim to take another step forward and be back fighting again.”
