Moto 2 – SPEED UP TEAM – GP OF SAN MARINO

QUARTARARO FINISHED THE RACE IN 7TH POSITION, WHILE DANNY KENT CRASHED OUT DURING SECOND LAP

The +EGO Speed Up Racing team once again in the points with Fabio Quartararo who cross the finish line of the Marco Simoncelli Misano World Circuit in seventh position.

It was not a perfect start for Fabio who lost some positions and from the fourth grid position he was eighth at the end of the first lap. It was a tight-knit race by the number 20 of the +EGO Speed Up Racing team, fighting from the first to the last lap to gain ground without giving up even though problems in acceleration hampered its position recovering.

After a good start in which Danny Kent was able to immediately recover 5 positions, he unfortunately crashed out during the second lap at the number 4 curve.

FABIO QUARTARARO#20 – 7th

“A difficult race because we wanted to do better than obtained. I had problems in acceleration because in the first sector where there are a lot of turns I was strong, but once in the straight line I was losing a lot compared to the other riders. We absolutely have to solve these problems as soon as we get to the Motorland of Aragon for the next Grand Prix!”

DANNY KENT#52 – DNF

“I’m really disappointed with how the weekend went. After the fall in yesterday’s qualifying, everything went wrong. Certainly today’s race was anything but easy, but at least we hoped to be able to fight for the points. After the warm up lap I had already realized that something was wrong and in fact after a few corners I crashed out because of problems at the front of the Speed Up bike. I’m really sorry, especially for my team”.
